does anyone know how easily a sparco torino will install in a MSP....since dimensions are the same as a regular protege i figured someone would know....i know i'll need the brackets and all....just wondered how easy it would be

anywhere to get a good price on the Milano's, Canada or the US and does anyone know if they have an adjustable or any lumbar support?

Yes, Milano's have adjustabable lumbars. They lowest price I have found was $819 USD a piece for two and that was over the phone. I know there website says 889 but they will give you a deal on the phone. Another place to check is Sounddomain. They are a reliable company with fair shipping prices. Last time I checked with Sparco our mounting hardware was still under construction. The link I created below for brackets is from a coustom set of brackets. They will make them for Sparco's you must call and ask though they may a bit pricey but with seats you don't want to just rig something up. It is your life we are talking about. I would check with Sparco or Nopi on the brackets though they might be out by now for our cars. Hope this helped

Just called Sparco USA and confirmed that the seat mounting accessories for 02-Up Protege (they said it's for Protege but I think P5 is the same) are available now. You will need the following parts. These parts are for base mount seats including the Torinos

1. Base Mount (00500/2044)
2. Adapter (00500)
3. Slider (00493)

They are about $165 USD

Contact your Sparco dealer to confirm the part number and price.

Geez, $800+ just to save a few lbs!

no.. not just to save a few pounds... to save your life... racing seats are alot safer when combined with 4 or 5 point harnesses (which also looks ALOT better)... and they keep you stuck in your seat during autocrossing, hauling off through traffic, road racing, and any sharp turns.... so its $800 to...
save a few lbs
improve the appearance of your interior
keep you posted up while driving, improving skill and handling
and for safety reasons...
