Well picked up my new wheels today for a steal. 650... considering others go for around 1.2 im extremely happy with the price i paid, only thing now is the fitment.
There a 17x7 with a +42 offset. At the moment they have 215/45/17 and i put them on to test fit and they sit really close to fenders and rub like a lil bitc. So this brings my first question. machining the rear wheel hubs to change the offset? just doing say 4mm of to bring it to a +46? or could i go more to a +48? Im also junking the tires that are on there because they're in terrible condition and going with 205/40/17 but i don't think that will make much difference. other thing is to roll the fenders, but that's my last resort.
So basically what do you all know about machining these wheels?
Otherwise i love these wheels!
