I've seen pleeeenty of videos and posts of people deleted the muffler and the second cat/resonator to great effect, but I'm wondering if removing just the muffler is advisable as well? What would that sounds like?
I'm look from something gurgly at idle and a snarl on power, with absolutely no brassy metallic fart can noises.
The stock exhaust on the MS3 is nice off idle, but too quiet when on the boil, there's a snarl there but its too muffled.
I've found baffled resonators to do wonders to my old civic's exhaust tone, so I'm not so sure I want to delete those.
Opinions? Experiences?
