Soul Red w/ Sand Interior being made

The "Build a Vehicle" option on Mazda's US website only lists black for the interior but a dealer in Kansas has a Soul Red CX-5 with the Sand interior.

Now if Meteor Grey ever gets the Sand interior color option, I'll get my wish.

Nice find! I was disappointed when the 2014's came out without the red/sad combo.. Anyone know how this came to be? Perhaps it's possible to have something like that ordered?

When I go to the Mazda USA site and go through the CX-5 Build A Vehicle, it shows Sand as an available interior color for Soul Red.

Sand is also available for Stormy Blue, Black, and White.

This matters to me as I detest black interiors. I saw a very nice two-tone gray interior on a new 2013 Toyota RAV4. Wish Mazda had something like that as an option.

I should have said that the Touring version, with cloth seats, in Soul Red, offers tan as an option. For whatever reason, if you go to Grand Touring and leather, they only offer black. At least on their Mazda USA web page.

I confirmed it with Mazda. They are not making the Soul Red Grand Touring with Sand Leather on the 2014 model. Only the cloth sand for the Touring model.

I have no use for a black interior with any exterior color. My preference is the red with a sand cloth or leather.

The dealers are offering a 3rd party custom leather seating option which comes with a lifetime warranty. I had the option in doing that if I went with the touring package, but 'settled' for the GT instead.
