Soooo bored.

Great work adragonfly :D

I wonder...do you know how to create dimension with Photoshop and illustrator? I did a simple line drawing with Illustrator but I would like something with more dimension...something that is close to the real thing...I'm interested in visuals for the 200 mph P5 project. Something that will get people excited!

Something like the i-club.com logo...they have a cool looking blue subby.

Well...let me know if its even possible...also if you have any questions...if it seems like too much...don't worry about it.

Below is the simple line drawing I did...it has front spoiler, side skirts, guiding rakes under the car and other mods...my quick interpretation of a landspeed p5.

Would it be possible to do a qtr view with a bit of the front and side of the car?

Thanks...no big deal if its too much work...

Once upon a time there was a barbarian named Ryan. He wandered the desert with some hot chick who wouldn't let go of his leg...

He tried to lure her off of there with some Jif Peanut butter and a bowl of jello, but she just wouldn't budge... (Someone keep going. :) )

gradient mesh baby!

absolutely the only way to go if yu want dimension within illustrator. takes a sharp eye, a smooth hand, and a shitload of patience though. someday ill get the hang of it.

i tried it the other day with an MP3, but to no avail...the mesh is just impossible. hehe

Antoine, sorry for the delay, but right when I was done my computer crashed and wouldn't restart! I had to call a repair tech to fix it and thank God the file was still there! I have to say this is the best illustrator job I've ever done. I didn't mean to make it this detailed, but I got carried away by the excitement. Here you go...

Very nice, Ari!

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Unfortunately, Linux, I don't get paid well for what I do. Not even a college degree matters anymore these days.:( Oh well, hopefully my new job will give me a raise.

Here's another one for Syz (the new color combo you requested... I had to start all over again cause I lost that file when my computer went down last week!)

Awesome adragonfly! Well done...impressive skills...glad I asked...came out great...very cool.

Since you seem to enjoy doing this and seeing as how you defiantly have the skills...would it be possible to do a landspeed version of the one you just did based on my line drawing? Try adding front spoiler and side skirt which are basically aggressive flat panels (black, silver or bodycolored?)...also

-lowered w/ rear a bit higher
-no roof racks or mirrors
-maybe try the p5 yellow

Maybe something with motion incorporated...like blurred rims...subtle streaks...like its going 200 mph and you took a picture of it.

Let me know if you can try that...if you can't no problem...you have already done an awesome job...so cool. :D

Thanks for the suggestion... I checked it out, and some of those were pretty cool. There isn't as much satisfaction in that as there is in doing stuff for the people on the forum. Know what I mean?

Anyway, I just needed stuff to keep me busy for my last days at my current job. Tomorrow's my final day here, and after that I won't have time to mess around on the computer so much.
