Something blew :( help ? Ideas?

Alright so i picked up my car last night out of storage and on the way home i was getting on the highway and just as i started to hit boost my engine jumped or *coughed* twice then something blew ...i dont know if it is the turbo or the engine... It pissed oil everywhere

i got it towed home and i am going to look at it to see what blew tommorro ...but in the case that it is the motor ...and i want to replce it with another turbo motor ...what are my options ...mazdaspeed 3? 6? Lol anything im kinda lost!! And i doubt ill find a msp motor ...

Or any other feedback would be apprciated

i dont think a mazdspeed 3, or 6 motor will be direct bolt up. i would suggest buying a regular protege motor and then swapping over the bearing plate, oil lines, etc...

ya just get a regular protege engine and swap the windage tray and turbo over and lines all that stuff over. speed 3 or speed 6 motor is to much fabrication to get it to fit.

There is no such thing as an MSP motor. Like the others said, it is a simple 2.0L FSDE (protege motor) with some turbo stuff slapped on.
