Some trims have shark fin antenna but no Sirius/XM

Just got my 2025 Premium Plus with Sirius/XM, liked the Premium Plus because of the options over the 2024 Premium I was originally looking at and also wanted Sirius/XM also the Premium had but while at the dealer noticed a few trims with the shark fin antenna but looking at the window sticker of those Sirius/XM is not included. Wondering why Mazda is adding a shark fin antenna that is for Sirius/XM but the radio cannot have it added.

I think the shark fin antenna is common on many newer cars today, regardless of whether Sirius/XM is included or not. Both my CX-5's ('20 and current '22) were/are lower trims with the shark fin antenna but no Sirius/XM. I believe it saves on production costs to have the one antenna type.

It's also used for the GPS antenna, and probably for the cellular connection for Mazda Connect.
