some major modifications!!!!!!!!!!

first of all sorry for the thread name this is to get everyones attention and input.

Ok first of all i plan to get a BOV, Boost controller, turbo timer, FMIC, and a custom made exhaust, but i have several questions.

1. do i go with a GReddy PRofec e-o1 boost controller, a GReddy turbo timer, and HKS ssq BOV; or a HKS EVC, HKS type 1 Turbo timer, and HKS ssq BOV?

2. What is the best intercooler core to go with to have a shop make me a custom FMIC complete with end tanks and custom piping?

3. i know we have an internal waste, but i want to add a bigger better exhaust. my question is can i go with a 3" exhaust from turbo back without having to worry about boost creep? also should i go with a HKS hi power muffler or a GReddy muffler?

4. when i get the boost controler what is the max psi i can run without worring about blowing my internal or needing more fuel.

5. if i do need to do something about my fuel will a GReddy E manage system work on my car.

i am sorry for all my questions but this is my first car and i am a newbie but i have a lot of questions that i need answered in less than a week whcih is when i plan to purchase my mods.

1) Greddy Profec B is what I have, and a Greddy turbo timer, also I will be getting an HKS ssq BOV as well =D

2) Any intercooler will work good there isnt really THAT much of a difference in quality its mostly size

3) You can go with a 3" exhaust but be ready for a CEL if you get ur local exhaust shop to hook it up. I would go with a JIC 505 Titanium exhaust personally at 2.5" (i think). 3" doesnt hurt, but IMO 2.5" is better.

4) 12 psi MAX MAX MAX. 10 psi for normal daily driving MAX.

5) Greddy E Manage will work =] but I would just get larger injectors if anything....

Welcome to the board =D I am still a newbie too and most likley some of my suggestions arent perfect so don't listen to me 100% hopefully some veteran will jump in on this and help you out as well peace-
 
1.) IMO I'd use a manaul boost contoller.

2.) I've got a 30x7x2.5 FMIC. I'm having a friend weld the piping using pre-mandrel bent tubing. I'll post pics when it's done. At the same time I'll be using a Greddy Type-S BOV with re-circulation kit.

3.) 3" is always better IMO but you could run into problems trying to get it to fit on the over axle section. It will most likley hit the control arm or the rear sway bar. 2.5" should suffice given the size of the stock turbo. You can do a custom setup or go with JIC Bullet cat-back. The JIC has 60mm piping or 2 5/8" which would be ok. If you are gonna do a custom setup you can pretty much choose any muffler. A round can (ie Apexi N1, HKS Hi Power) will be louder and will have more of a "tinny sound" A full can such as (ie Greddy, ES Tuning) will be quieter and produce a "bassier note". It's all about preference. Also sound will change by removing cats and or resonators.

4.) 10 psi on the street but since the cars are so new not too many have pushed it pass that. Some members are at 12 or even 14.

5.) A e-manage will work but at that point a full blown standalone engine mangement system can be had. I'll be testing one probably by the end of the summer. I'll be using a Autronic system.
