Soft Top Maintenance

Hi Everyone. I just bought my first roadster convertible (MX5). Can anyone give me any information about maintaining the soft top? Is there a product I should use to protect it from the sun and elements? Thanks.

303 is good stuff, but the OP does not mention if the Miata is Vinyl top or canvas. 303 makes both kinds or protectants, but don't mix them up
