Soft Roof Rack for P5...

So 2003 Silver P5 and im wanting to buy a kayak. I was wondering if anyone had used a soft rack for this purpose instead of spending 350 bucks on a yakima rack or somethin like that. Thanks for the info!

Or if some one knows where i can get a stock rack somewhere for not to much id be open to that too..

what part of sd are you in? are you on mocc? there are usually some floating around there too

Do you have the factory rack? If so, all you need is the Yakima Hullraiser Aero. Those cradles will clamp to your factory rack and you'll be good to go for about $150.

no factory rack.....thats what i need...once i get that..ill look into the Thule or Yakima Kayak Racks fer sure

I mount saddle racks to the stock roof rack (which i remove when not in use / too dorky-lookin' ... )

Perfect yak' Support Vehicle! Holds all the gear, doesn't get stuck in the sand (if you drive smart ) and being so low - makes the reach-over a breeze!
