Someone give me the steps to put on springs... I know I need a spring compressor and all.. But what steps do I have to take.. This is my first time doing anything suspension related.. Thanks!

simply, remove stuff off of strut, like the brake line, remove strut mount, pull out strut, compress spring, take off strut mount, take off spring, compress spring to put on, put on strut mount attach put strut back on and all hardware, tighten down on bolts on top for strut mount on strut and strut mount on car. done with number 1. rinse lather repeat

A shortcut I have always done

Car on ground loosen big nut on each strut (front/rears) and just jack it up to de-compress the springs.

Then unbolt the strut from the hub and endlink to swap springs.
Replace by guiding the strut in with an allen wrench in the strut shaft from under the hood/or in trunk

ive done springs 3 times on my car and never used a spring compressor. theres not much tension with our springs

i want to do rears my self tomorrow.. but do i really need a sc?

first step. go into trunk loosen up strut?

second. jack up rear.

third. replace spring?

Yes (for the rears )you'll have to remove the panels to get to them.

for the MSP, they are under the rear deck cover, behind the seats. you cant get to them through the trunk.

the strut tops are boxed in by the frame. only way to get to them is to fold the back seats down, remove the rear deck cover, then remove the seatbelts.

its all outlined pretty well in the service manual.
