so ive got a manual mz3 i want to turbo charge

ok ok ok ok ive heard it all about just trading in and getting a speed, well cant do it credit sux and so does my negative equity that would be going into a speed 3, trade isnt happening, plus i like my car color so i want to kep it.......i want to safely boost my car 5-7 psi i just want the turbo in the car, most go for looks and all that stuff, i want the looks and the real turbo sound i just dont want to destroy the car, now i know how to do the tranny, i just replaced my cheap ass clutch like 3 months ago with another cheap ass clutch but that was cake work, theres a kit from tripoint im thinkin bout buying it comes with turbo header, injecters,turbo, intercooler, ecu and all the works its like 3'gs whatelse would yall say i would need cuz im not doing the forged internals for a little while....i plan to only run 5-7 psi im not dumb and i dont have the lets turn up the psi and see what this baby can do effect.......should a stage 3 clutch be able to handle the power output with the stock tranny? what do yall think?? i need a lot of feed back
 
Hey. I bought the Tripoint kit and love it...been running it for a few months now and I fully recommend it; I also got an ACT performance clutch kit (you will need). 8 PSI, and now 240 WHP (I got dyno'd). If you have any questions, PM me.
 
Well there are several kits you can look at and consider. Tri-Point, F2 Racing, Hi-Boost(if you can contact them) & Reactive Racing. All kits and are excellent but overall it just depends on how much your willing to spend and willing to pay. The cheapest kits out of all is F2 since they have several kits with different stages to offer. I know some members who are boosted and still using their stock clutch but to be on the safe side investing in an aftermarket clutch would be good.
 
considering you're in San Antonio, why not talk to BEGi / Bell engineering? I'm very happy with their kit on my miata.
