It was never stated that it was temporary. So my sig was pretty smart assed, thats still not a reason to ban me, you could have said "yeah but no". You should have been notified that it was only a temporary ban. But nonetheless, you being asked to edit your signature was your warning. Your response warranted a temporary ban as a 'final warning.' Regardless, you should have been kept in the loop and told that it was a temporary ban for 1 week or whatever. But that's a different matter altogether.Aricjm15 said:

Until recently WE NEVER BANNED ANYONE.. in two years we banned a total of two people. The thing is, we have 4 admins and 9000 members. All four have full time jobs. PMing people about small things takes more time than anyone realizes. We started the temporary bans because of obscenity in avatars and sigs. Its a situation where the rules are very clear and simple. Everyone should understand that to get permanently banned around here you have to go to the extremes. Otherwise, temporary bans are usually 24 hours at the most.
The new advertising rule. This rule is currently in debate. It was posted in the staff section only and is now a 3 page thread of suggestions. The original version of the rule is too stiff and our goal is to make it where it protects members from getting screwed and AVs/AMMs from having people cross into their territory. After we find a happy median, it will be enforced. <O
This still is one of the best sites on the net when it comes to getting banned. all that we have asked is that people stop putting nudity and other offensive matter in their sigs and avatars. This site was to the point that MANY people could not even look at it when working because they feared the repercussions from pictures that had been posted.
We want to be a place where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings, but DAMN some of you have dirty thoughts and feelings.
