snow tires for 2010 mazda 3 GT

I had wanted to get the Hancock winter Ipike snow tires yet the only size I can find is 215/55/17 and my factory size is 205/50/17. Will the larger size fit? Or are there any other good snows that do fit?

You'll find more options at 205/55R16 on a 16x6.5 or 16x7 5x114.3 suitable-offset wheel, but if you want to stay on the OEM wheels, some good options are:

Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D 205/50R17 (93V)
Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 205/50R17 (93V)
Michelin X-Ice Xi2 205/50R17 (93T)
General Altimax Arctic (93Q)

Technically only the first two choices meet the Mazda-recommended V-speed rating for the 17" size. Mazda also provides a recommendation for 16" wheels and tires that only need to meet a H speed rating.

I'm running Hankook winter i*cept evo 205/55R16 (91H) on Enkei J10 16x7 wheels, on the car since black friday.
