Seriously - you only need a metric socket set and long srcewdriver. Download the procedure. It really is that easy. Have a mech friend wtach you do it.

wow these cars run it on two belts...for me it was easy it was just the serpentine belt connected to the PS,AC,Alrernator...really simple to chance...im not sure if these are connected to the alternator bc i havent looked but if it was and you do decide to drive...your battery will die..

would make since my mk4 was a 00 and my p5 is a 02 =]...either way easy to change espcially in these cars...has a lot of room in the engine bay
