Smic

its funny how everyone has a different opinion on every single topic on the msp forum. it makes decisions extremely difficult.

Yeah and there is always one person on each side with lots of time/experience and they are all very sure about their info. It always happens in Intercooler, piping, pully threads heh.

i just wanted to know everyones opinion on smic compared to fmic.
you wanted opinions, you got opinions...

my buddy is upgrading his sidemount on his GSX, but its not because its the most efficient. he's buying one cause its the cheapest way to cool the charge air just enough for the times he wants to run. he realizes its not going to perform consistently, but he's willing to make that trade off for some decent times before it heatsoaks.

Thats why I say in most of the threads to just do what you want to do. Asking for advice is only going to start s*** because people don't want to think they didn't buy the best available, and everyone thinks their car is the greatest and they know everything. So, just do what you want.

Nah it good to ask whatever you want. Most of the time you can tell when someone is biased or not. Just listen to everyone and form your own opinions. And it's always good to listen to a person more that has real facts. Help not to get caught up in hype that could be based on a lie.

But I have found this forum to be an excellent place for information. Also this site is pretty good about people not being like "our car/product is the best EV@R!!" Well better than other threads I've seen.

i understand that asking for opinions will come with contradicting thoughts but its irritating how the msp does not ever have strong evidence for certain parts. if u go online to a corvette forum, u will find exact information and numbers to back everything up. i know the msp are limited production cars but im sure everyone would benefit more with a larger community.

To me it seems like more and more people are giving out more information/numbers on their products. Since people like Custom and Begi have indepth numbers on their new IC"s I'm sure other companies will follow so they are easier to compare products.

CustomMSP's is excellent, and is only $465. Low pressure drop, much greater flow than stock. Can easily support 250whp.
Thats what i have and its a definate improvement over stock. Ridiculous amount.
