Bought a brand new 2025 CX 5 S Select with only 5 miles on it and it has made an ever so slight clunk sound when coming to a complete stop. Is this a normal thing with the Skyactiv transmission?
I have the same thing. After starting and driving up to a mile, when I stop, it sounds as though the engine starts to stop and then starts again. 2025 CX-5
It is likely the torque converter unlocking when you drop below 10 or so mph. If you feel like something "lets go" when you hear that sound and the car rolls a little bit faster, that's it.
