Im just saying because the way diesel is rated is completely different from gas. But generally a high compression of even 10 or 11:1 should be using high octane. Skyactiv is a whole Nother ball game, running 15:1 is un heard of for a gasoline engine and its equally weired to see that in a diesel. Does anyone know if Skyactiv uses a common rail fuel injection?
half a tank so far on 87 and the wife sees or feels no difference.
oh well,
i am saving 20 cents on the gallon..so that's like 3 dollars more in my pocket per tank full.
