Skunk2 Coilover Kit

I've been reading up on coil over kits abit on this fourm and I havnt really came across anything about the Skunk2 Coilover Kit that **********.com offers. Does anyone have problems with this certrain Kit? Does any1 know of a coilover kit thats good with no problems ect? any suspension comments would be great thanks (friday)

Anyone with them will tell you they ride like ass. Stiff as s*** and bouncy. If you do a sleeve over go with ground control.

hmm. i dont know about putting the skunk2's on a protege i have not but i had them on my 00' Si and they rode pretty damn good. no0t bounncy at all was kinda stiff but so is the stock MSP sometimes. from my experance i would try them on the MSP but i like the stock the way it is.

if you do a search you may be able to find something, i remember asking the same question. the guy who had them said they sucked butt. i'm going with GC's this or next week so i'll let you know how they ride.

dont buy skunk2's! atleast the kit for the proteges. I had them, they were really bouncy, bottomed out easily, and made ALOT of noise... like creeking, popping, and the sound of sand and dirt grinding at every turn and bump. well if you keep them clean and greased all the time that will minimize the noise but they still ride like @$$...

Whats a good quality coilover kit, one that you can just install and that you want have to change anything to make them work without problems

TEIN SS , JIC FLTA2, but pricey.

I'm pretty sure I heard that the JIC FLTA2's rub with the stock offset wheels. (MSP that is)

as of yesterday, I now have tein ss coilovers, but before these I had goldline springs on the stock struts and those were a really good drop and good ride for a nice price (lol2)
