Sirius Sat Radio Problems

I have a 2008.5 Mz3 with the 6 disk changer and Sirius radio. I started my car about two weeks ago, and the radio came on saying it was updating, and since then, it does not recognize my preset buttons for Satellite. When I press the buttons, they each come up saying "invalid channel". Also, when I turn the car on now, it always defaults to station 30 something, which is like spa music. I can use the knob to retune to the station I want, but it doesn't seem to like the presets or remembering where it was when it was last on. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

I have the same problem, I think you can just take it into a dealer and they'll update the system. I also got a note in the mail that I think might have addressed this but since I didn't have this problem at the time I got it I just threw it out.

Cool, thanks...I should have mentioned it to them last weekend when I was there for an oil change.

Yeah. I took mine in and now my CD changer doesn't work. Go figure...back to the dealership I go.

A coworker recommended I try contacting Sirius first, to see if maybe they could resend an activation signal or update or something. When that didn't work they told me to take it back to the dealer, since it sounded like either the modulator or tuner was bad. I thought I could avoid a trip to the dealer, but apparently not. Oh well, we'll see if they can fix it.
