are you using the correct wattage bulbs?
yeah
its only one side that is doing it. i just dont get it. you would think that if it were the bulbs that it would be both sides...right???

not trying to put you down or anything, but are you touching the actual bulb at all during the install? also, what brand are you using? I've had good luck with plain silvanias

if all that is fine, I'd track the wiring harness back as far as you can, see if it is getting pinched anywhere

Yeah I was also wondering if by some odd coincidence you kept touching the bulb for this side

dont feel bad my mazda brother it hamppens to me about every 3 months...always the left side.
well im not touching it. and its always the driver side for me too....what the hell?

I also have troubles with my driver side headlight, althuogh not as often as you... Funny thing for me is that whenever there's rain or snow, I turn on the headlight and if I drive for more than half-an-hour this burning smell starts coming inside... I didn't think much of the bulb and I focused rather on the drive belts... several weeks later both the driver side headlight and the driver side fog light burn out...

After I changed the bulb this never happened again... I'm still a little confused but I do wish you luck on your conquest to find out what's really going on.

Haha, yeah... too bad, UPS don't come to this building as often as FedEx... plus I now have to watch 3 screens trying to make money from the stock market fulltime...

Anyway, let's not threadjack, we can talk more in the dumpster :D

my car eats any bulb left or right. from cheeper than cheep to a set of piaa's that i spent 50 bucks on. (they lasted 1 month.) i can never keep all my headlights working. although i've never had a problem with the high beams

yeah high beams no problem.

just a thought but correct me if i am wrong.. the car you have does have a salvage title and i saw the wrecked pics and the new ones ..so the driver side headlight was the one that was all jacked up.. maybe when ever they took it apart.. assuming they took it apart to paint it.. they didnt seal it up all the way? do you get mostuire in it whne it rains or you wash it??? or maybe whenever they where fixing it they messed up the wiring some how? just some thoughts
