Side View Mirror Control Issue on CX-9 GT

I have a 2007 GT. Recently when trying to adjust the side view mirrors, when trying to move them in or out they do not move at all and then when trying to move them up and down they move even when I no longer press the buttons. The motor continues to run and the mirror clicks as it continue to try to move past the stopping point. Has anyone seen this issue? I am thinking the switch in the driver's door is possibly bad. Any suggestions?

Is it out of warranty yet?
If yes, and I were you, I would take it apart, clean it up and put it back.
Then, see what happens next.
It could simply be a short or bad contact.

Finally got around to getting this corrected. Turns out it was the driver's door master switch which was faulty. Had it replaced by the dealer under the extended warranty.
