side panel lines

you know the lips on the sides of the doors.. i was wondering if anyone has taken them off and how it came off.. i know its held on by tape but i want to c if anyone has done it first.

I did it.I used a hair dryer to heat up the trim and then just start pulling it off.You should not have a problem.

It came out perfect.You may want to wash and wax it after.I like the look much better.
Im going to take some pictures tomorrow but Im sure someone else will have some here by then.

I took mine off using bumper sticker remover....same stuff as the 3M adhesive remover.....did what sharkdiver did....wash and wax afterwards. Cleans up the car dramatically.
 
yeah do a search its been done tons on the reg3... and where the side panels are the same it will have the same result...
 
I used brute force of pulling along with 3M Spray Adhesive Remover, that stuff works great, I would ONLY use that adhesive remover, it may be a little harder to find but its worth it. Heres how mine looks

Super easy to remove. Just start at one end, pry and pull it a bit until you pulled enough to grasp in your palm, then just pull with your palm a steady even pull. It comes off smooth, the adhesive is still intact on the moulding! A hair dryer helps too! (smoke)
