side marker ??

Have a quick question for you guys or gals.The 03 p5's have clear side markers on them,and I'm wanting to put a set of factory side's on my 02.Does anyone know if there is a big hole under those or is it just enough to run the wires through?

2002.5 also have them BTW.

There is a big hole under there. Its made so that the sidemarkers can snap-on in the hole.
