Side Blinker Lights

Does anyone know if the side blinker light covers from the Mazdaspeed will work on our Mazda3. I noticed in the owners manual that it seems to be a whole assembly and you cannot just replace the clear covers with the "orange" covers. I would prefer to have orange.....Any suggestions..?

To answer your question "eting", I want orange BECAUSE everyone else has clear. I want to be different and make my car a little different in that respect too. My P5 had orange, and I think it looked a lot better and it was very little money to offset it against everone elses.

That is why I want orange. Ok?

Well, not exactly the response I was looking for Aussieman, but since you know your Gay trends, I respect you being out of the closet and letting me know the latest Gay fashions....

However, Orange is used by a lot of manufacturers, in fact I have had many people of P5's ask me where to get the lenses I had on mine, cause they liked the way it tied in with the front side marker lights.....

This is a personal preference for me and my car, and a cool look I would like to continue with my new 3, so keep your little bitter gay comments to yourself please.

In case you have not noticed, you being a newbie on here, this is a forum to find out how I can do something to my car, not for you to make me feel bad about what I want.

In reference to the turn signals....i thought the Tribute had the orange signals that are a whole assembly. I am sure i am wrong though...just a guess.

I changed the clear side-blinker to an orange light (2002 Mazda Tribute part) so that it would match the orange light in the bumper of my 2003.5. Looks much better, at least more consistent. Clear lights look like ass IMHO.

Anyways, do you know if the side blinker is the same size style as the P5's. If so, it should fit no problem. Fo' Shizzle!

Appreciate the knowledge, I will look into that possibility with the Tribute housings. I was thinking about that and I believe it should work. Any idea how much they are?....I have not priced them yet.

I have a friend that works at a local Mazda dealer (in the parts dept.) I bought my set for $50.00 bucks new. If interested, PM me and I'll get you in touch with him. Just make sure that the 2003.5 and older P5's side blinkers are the same (should be.) It'll take a few business days for him to get them in if they need to be special ordered.

FYI, the tribute part number i used was B01W-51-120.
