Side Airbags

How can |i tell if my 2003 p5 has side airbags in the seats. Owners manual says they are but i see no indication

Do you have a sunroof and/or ABS? If so, I think side air bags comes with the package. If I remember right, on the side of my seat there is an Airbag badge... I'll have to check in the morning.

i know the 3.5's had a package with the ABS and Side airbags......not with the sunroof though.

2003.5s had a sunroof / 6-cd changer option and a abs / side airbags option.. it hink the side airbags might have come with the leather or something.. but the sunroof / 6-CD is seperate from the ABS / Side airbags.

You can tell if you have side airbags if you feel on the sides of your front seats near the doors.. there should be a very noticable piece of plastic or something sticking out.

There will be a label on the upper side bolster of both front seats; there is also a warning label inside the driver-side door jamb. As has been previously stated, side airbags came with ABS. The other package was the six cd changer and sunroof. Leather was a seperate option altogether.

How do I know? Check my sig....

WOW! Thanks for all the respones. I have a canadian model. ABS with no sunroof and no leather. I will check to see if I can find the sticker on the door and then feel for the lump in the seat.

Just a bit off topic here but does anyone know if they make seat covers that will accommodate side airbags? Like it has a cut-out or break away sides so if the side airbag deploys, it won't be obstructed by the seat cover. I have 2 cars with side airbags and I would like to get seat covers for them.

I have moonroof but no six disc changer... maybe whoever owned it before me sold the original six disc and put the one cd in when they sold it. Would this package have been different for the 2002.5?

Holy crap, they want an arm and a leg for their seat covers. Granted, perhaps they're the best but I don't need the best. Anybody else make seat covers that accommodate side airbags?

I believe that the Moon and Tunes Package (as they called it) was new for 2003+ models. Although I'm not 100% certain of that.
