Sorry for the rant but i deserve to...

So i take it in today to get fixed and i told the dealer the prob's

1. Wont engage 1st gear.
2. Loud sound when idle (no aircon)
3. Brakes are warped (at 5K)
4. ...
the list goes to like 8

anyways they call me and tell me they couldn't reproduce anything but the brakes which they resurfaced.

Now this punk mazda service kid (like 18) drives my car to the front i have the service manager next to me and i call him over and ask him if the sound from the engine bay doesn't sound right... i tell him it sounds like a turbo deisel doing 100k miles or so... so he pops the hood, looks aroudn and tells me to wait for the engine to blow or a piston to bust... he says he cant fix it till somehting breaks

WTF is that s***. and my tranny sux still im gonna see if i can drive someones MSP tonight to see its just me

take it to another dealer. you should be able to take it to any mazda dealer for service. sounds like they suck.

That's all and your ranting??? What do you expect from a brand new car?

Certainly not 8 or more problems. Anybody who's satisified with that might as well just save money and buy a dodge.

dude im afraid to say that dodge holds up better. My msp has all sorts of problems that i need to take to the dealership to get fixed. i bought my pt cruiser when it was new, back in 2000. Any ways i have tore the s*** out of the pt and havent had as many problem with it as the msp, and i drive the msp it carefully, and i hate the pt i even blew the engine in it on purpose. And i love my MSP, its just full of probs.

SERIOUSLY my mitsubishi was problem free compared to the msp
but i dont mind going to get it fixed except the fuckers dont fix it

I am gonna take it to another dealer tommorow

Your idle problem may be what I've found on my car, it seems like my Throw-out bearing has gone bad. If you are sitting at idle listen for the sound and then push the clutch in, if it goes away, chances are that your TOB is bad.
