(attn) As the title says! post up all your red Protege 5's!! (and other red mazdas)

I have recently been HUGE into the honda scene and i just now traded my last car for a Protege 5!

i love the car to death, 5 speed, but alas, i have never been a red fan and the car is red! i dont want to waste a substantial amount of money repainting the car + jams and bay so i'd like to see other red protege 5's and mazdas in general rocking the red theme!

will post pics of my P5 asap, have only had the car 2 weeks so i haven't taken any yet lol, so far i've sprayed mazda logo in stock grille flat black, tinted foglights yellow and put some 8K HID's in for the low beams. Also has CF interior trim pieces, K+N ram air intake, OBX header, and some sort of sport exhaust that i dont know (sounds incredible) (evil)

thanks guys! i agree, i dont think they are too bad in red, at least they paint it a nice good solid red, i just need that extra boost to get into the color lol

very nice dude, love the wrinkle red on the VC, the dude that did mine did it in like a pretty weak gloss red and i do not like it at all, i'm gonna have to redo it, but i plan on making a project of it and putting something really sweet on it, perhaps a stencil or design

i need to get me some CF for the center console area

thanks so much guys(group) ive put alot of work into the p5 recently and im glad you guys like it. i think ive FINALLY found a set of wheels worth dropping 1g+ on should have them on before the end of summa. but as far as the jdm tails, they were plug and play. mine included the wiring harness with all the sockets and bulbs installed. but heres a pic of the new painted dg hood closed

kudakev615 - i like the freshly painted hood and i agree, so far i think your red p5 is best, boost it and it would be untouchable with a fresh set of Work SSR's with massive lip, but anyways could you tell me why everyone says "dg" this and "dg" that? is that the chassis code of protege5s?

DG Motorsports made quite a few carbon fiber pieces for Mazdas, ie: DG lip, DG hood so on and so forth. The chassis code is actually BJ....hehe

yeah thats what i came up with but people kept saying dg this and that so i figured maybe it was something like the DSM's do how they are lasers, eclipes, and talons, with their own chassis codes but can still be reffered to as a collective "dsm"

i looked up the vin number information like a week ago and was like now own a "BJ"? (boom01)

Red was definitely not my first choice of colors when I got my P5 but now I am happy that it is what I ended up with. It's a slamming solid, true red that has really grown on me. I actually don't find too many other cars on the road with a "red red" quite like this one. Or perhaps I'm biased. I bought mine used from a dealership. Apparently the previous owner painted all the door trim components red when he/she owned it...and at some point painted it back to black. I never knew there was red under the components...so now I have a car that has patches of red starting to show through on the door trim pieces. Talk about ghetto.

i'm with you 100% on all of that, oh and sick avatar btw, used to watch spiderman EVERYDAY after school when i was young lol

my interior trim pieces were painted red if you saw them in the pics, i think the dude went a little overboard but thats just me, i've already done the paint everything imaginable in your interior project on my first car and i've gotten it out of my system, too me it looks pretty tacky plus its a total pain and i cant stand when plastics and stuff start chipping or get a scratch etc.

i'm gonna re-do that stuff in black again or maybe replace w/ CF
