Should I get a high flow cat?? Recommendations??

So I just got my dp/rp put in and I am loving it. Unfortunately, my girl hates the smell, personally I don't mind it. Smells like a go-kart and brings back childhood memories (drive)

ANYWAY, I like the sound but want something burblier and more aggressive sounding, but not any louder. I am thinking about killing 2 birds with one stone. Get a CBE to get the sound I want and finish off the exhaust system AND have a high flow cat welded into my midpipe to stop the smell and control the volume level.

Sound about right?? What are your recommendations for a high flow that will lower my volume level without hurting flow?? Do any alter the sound at all?

Btw, I am thinking about finishing off the system with either the HKS, CP-e, or GHL

Pretty much from my expereince taking out cats will:

1. Let you hear more burbles
2. Give you a much bassier exhaust

CBEs will:

Give you louder...not bassier sounds

Its all personal preference...but I personally love the bassier low growl over the higher pitch and louder CBE. There is no question about it, if you put a CBE on it will be louder.

As for the high flow cat, that should git rid of any smell. Friend of mine has the CP-e DP w/ high flow cat and his car doesnt smell any different then others.

If I were you i'd just get the high flow cat...don't get the CBE. The CBE WILL make your car louder (a higher pitch tone), will give you 5 hp, but cost ~$600. Personally I think that would be a total waste of money.
