07 Mazdaspeed3 GT Sunlight Silver (sold) :(
Might be getting a new set of wheels soon. They are silver but I want to either paint them or powdercoat them flat black. Has anyone had any experience with any shops in the Atl area? If so let me know, thanks. I am on the fence of either powdercoating or painting and if anyone has any (pro and con advice to either) that would help alot. Thanks.

Powdercoating is strong and will hold up much better than paint. Unless you have the right guy doing the painting. I've heard good reviews from people who had their wheels painted by super star customs. The wheel repair guy at my dealer does an awesome job repairing and painting wheels and he said he can do any color I want and he will guarantee it. We recently sold a new sti and the customer wanted his wheels powdercoated and we sent it out to have it done, came back very nice. Not sure which shop but I can find out.

touge, who do you use for wheel repair? I have a couple wheels that need some help. The guys at Wheel Wizard wanted $300. I wouldn't mind find someone cheaper.

Ill get the name for you 2morrow. But 300 is about wat you looking at to do all wheels. I wanted all my wheels custom painted and he said he would do the full meal deal for 400.

the shop wanted $300 just to repair 2 wheels, not including paint

Damn. Well ill get in touch with guy 2morrow and get his info over to you. What exactly do you want?

I have 2 17x7.5 Rotas. One is just kinda bent, the other is in pretty rough shape. I just need them trued up. No need to paint them, I'll worry about getting them refinished. I'll see if I have any pics of the damage.

here are a couple links to where I had posted some pictures:

Oh you looking for repair. I was thinking paint or curbage. That price is about right. You gonna pay round 150 per wheel for repair. Just buy two new wheels rotas are cheap lol

these were a part of a special group buy where the offset and bore size were "custom" ordered for the group.

Jwiist, if you're looking for a shop to powder your rims and close to alpharetta, check out evans performance, they are just inside the Cumming line on Hwy 9. I've had them cryo my trans and Rogue had them ceramic coat a manifold. I am planning to have some rims done there once I am ready. They quoted me $70 a piece for 17" rims. Nice people, family run business. Check em out at www.evansperformance.com or www.procryo.com
