Shop list

I want to start a list of shops around the different parts of Michigan. I want to see shop names, location, contact info if available, what you had done if anything, what their capabilities are, prices, quality, customer service reviews, etc.

I would start off first, but I don't have experience with any shops yet.

Mike, but close. Chris, right?

I'm mostly looking for places that can make custom intake/exhaust piping, but I thought it would be a good idea for everyone who is looking to get something done, but doesn't know where to start.

I take it that's you're uncle's shop?

It's funny that you mention that, because I ran into someone with a turbo RSX in Utica a few weeks ago who gave me a card for Advanced Powersports. He asked me if I was the one with who took my MSP up there and said that whoever it was had a full engine build. Was that Brian?
My buddy and I are going to make a trip up there soon.

Awesome! Keep 'em coming. This should be helpful to anyone looking for a good shop in their area.

that was bryans car...
that turbo rsx is pretty bad ass .. i saw it there when i went with bryan a few times to check his car out..

he does amazing exhaust work.. especially downpipes...

and he is the best price you will find anywhere for stainless exhaust

I'm gonna have to check the shop out when I have the cash for exhaust.

BTW, that RSX shattered first gear racing a Mustang Cobra. Those Cybernation RSX's are seriously fast (12 seconds fast).

where is this advanced motorsports place at? they have a website? I may have to check them out

who would be someone good to do a motor overhall? pistons rods, etc? I need to find someone for the winter :)

Hey guys I work at Sears Auto Center here in Grand Rapids. I know some sears aren't that great but ours is good plus I'll definitely watch out for you guys. Tires, batteries (even Optimas), wheels, brakes, suspension, etc. If anyone needs anything, let me know - I'll get you a good deal and advice plus I'll make a little commission off the sale too - works out good both ways. PM me if I can help you out.

Godspeed is great from what I hear, a friend of friend just bought one of there STI's they decided to sell.

Yeah, Godspeed is about 5 minutes away from me. My buddy is getting ready to take his RSX over there to get his Hondata K-Pro dyno tuned.
