As promised, here are some pics of my shift light and Harness
First the light:
AXAS Tuning Shift Light.
This thing only connects to the electrical system thru the cigarette lighter plug. It reads pulses in the electrical system when the coils fire, and you set the dials on the control unit so that the first and last lights come on when you want, and the box interpolates for the two middle lights. Mine is set so green comes on at 4k and red comes on at 6k, with 2 yellow lights between.
Harness
I have a Schroth Rallye 4 harness in the car. Looks like this:
The install was pretty easy. The lap belts are mounted using the stock seatbelt bolt on the left, and the front seat rail rear bolt for the right:
In back, I used the rear seatbelt mounting points inder the rear seat cushion:
There is a buckle that connects the shoulder straps to the rear Y-connection to the left of the above shot which allows the harness to be disconnected and stored under the driver's seat when not in use.
