What shop did that? It looks pretty good.. can't tell from any indentations.. but then again the pic is not detailed. (usa)

a friend of mine on my show team works in a body shop. he helped me shave it and i shot the paint. i just put it on last night and tonight i will finish wet sanding a few rough spots out of the clear.

ill try to take a more detailed pic after i finish the wetsanding. we also had to trim the dg lip to make it fit a little more snug. anyone else have to do that?

i had to shave the autoexe lip, but with anything, itll never be perfect when u order it. good job man! i was going to shave off my side lights also, but with the heat here it wasnt a good idea. if i bondo'd the holes in, at night, when its cold, the bondo would retract, and in the day expand when its hotter. after time, my body shop said, the cracks and outlines from what was patched up would start to show. very good work and nice! keep it up - chris

I've heard the same from someone else.. he has a webpage up.. link.

HEY L8R we didnt use bondo on mine, the flex of the bumper would pop it out quick as s***. we took an old plastic bumper from an eclipse and cut out several small squares. then we trimmed and fit the cutouts to the holes in the bumper and "welded" them in place. we took some flat plastic and epoxyed it on the backside of the bumper so it wouldnt fall through. last we just took some kitty hair fiberglass and glassed it. for the licences plate holes we took a big zip tie and a sautering iron and dripped plastic into the holes till the were filled. then we just sanded it smooth and shot it with paint. anyone else who wants to try this i can give more detailed instructions.
