set HOME on NAV

Just got my CX-7, GT AWD, tech package

usually I can figure out these menu driven things but I am stuck
on figuring out how to set my "HOME" address point on the NAV system.
I see home on the manu, but its choice is always greyed out.
How do I set HOME so I can call it up (e.g., with the voice activator)?

If I am correct you have to make it a memory point, then find it in your address book, and edit it to make it into HOME
