You can move the fenders to get a perfect fit too. I did this, but my car had also just been fixed from an accident and the work wasnt all that good

Reverse Cowl hood is about $900 shipped

vs.

Seibon cf hood is about $460 shipped

Personally, I don't think it's worth it to spend the extra cash on an appearance mod. When you could spend it on something else.

Update-Aerocatch Hood Locking Hood Pins

Got these hood pins from www.coastfab.com for about $95 shipped via 3 day express.

Top Secret is selling the same thing for $185 (execpt they painted theirs white on their demo car).

My mechanic liked the quality and look of these hood pins so much that he's getting one for his cf hood.

Cons-tool the shop 5 hours to install them, luckly I was charged for 2.5 hours of labor...

Just recently received an OEM style Seibon CF hood from Horsepowerfreaks.com and both my mechanic and I are happy with the quality of the hood. There is only one imperfection, a crack on the corner of the driver's side. Hopefully it's not a major issue.

The aerocatch hood pins will be installed this thursday. I got the wrong version last week, so the install had to be pushed back.

is that a crack or scratch?? if's it's a crack i'd think this was a problem...it could get worse over time?

It's a crack. I was told by seibon not to worry about it getting worse over time...

Thanks Ben! The amount of cutting required to get these pins in scared the hell out of me...Even after spending 5 hours of labor installing the pins, my mechanic decided to purchase a set for his hood too.

I have some carbon fiber base ones (real CF) that I have yet to put in (thought they might look cool w/ how I painted the hood). I still need to put in my washer nozzles too. Well, it's half way through winter and I'm getting along fine w/ out them. heh
