Security alarm problems!!

ok guys i have been having some problems with my security alarm arming itself on its own. is this normal? it does not do it all of the time but it does it pretty often. it willl even do it when the keys are in the ignition.... help me out here. it has now locked me out of it with the keys in it 3 times any input is helpful! thanks

try turning the sensitivity down, check for poor connections on the battery, get a extra keypad

I had issues with mine last month but i turned the sensitivity knob all the way down and it has been fine since. It's easy to pull the fuse for the alarm under the dash but you have to put it back in to start the car.
