I will like to know how can u install seatbelt pad on P5. It seems that the lock latch is way too high for thr pad to fit propely. Anyone done this before? Thanks

u know the seatbelt pad should be install on top of that metal piece that goes into the lock latch near the seat. but there's too little length between the metal piece and where the seatbelt bend. it's hard to explain. but thanks for the help

I have a pair of Mazdaspeed shoulder pads, and I have run into the same problem. There's a plastic nipple in the webbing that the extra 6 inches of padding allows to bunch up the belt, and it looks sloppy. I wouldn't about to screw with that nipple because it may ruin the integrity of the belt. On the passenger's side I sometimes put the pad over the seat belt clasp unless someone's riding shotgun. I've got under 4000 miles on it, and I've noticed another problem. The padding's velcro is starting to fuzz the webbing. I have removed the seatbelt pads altogether so this doesn't continue to happen, lest I need to go from 115mph to 0 in 5 seconds. Then the quarter of an inch of polyester is a lot more comfy. :D

I'm still not sure what's wrong with the seat belts since I forgot to look today and am too lazy to gown down to the garage. (I live in an apartment building!) i wanted to put seat belt pads on because I'm pretty small and the seat belt cuts into my neck sometimes... Hopefully I can figure something out. Let me know if you guys do.

I ran into the same prob. So I just put them on the waist side of the belt so it runs across my hips instead of my chest. But that isn't going to fix your neck issue...
