Seat Belt problems

Has anyone had any problems with their driver's side seat belt? My belt is fine, but the clicker that you stick your belt into, in the center of the car next to the seat, is not taking my belt. One day, it just stopped accepting my belt :(
I currently have to stick my belt into the passenger's side center piece, but it is at a weird angle and cuts into my neck.

Does anyone know of anything to do? Or where I can just get the center piece instead of having to buy an entire replacement belt & center piece?

I called my Mazda dealership and they said they would call back on how much it would cost, but that was almost a week ago.

Thanks!

try u pull it or your local equivalent of a shady junk yard business. the reciever part is just bolted on to your center console. it shouldn't be hard to find.

The female part that you are refering to is about $50 to $60 from the dealer. It seems to be a moderately common problem. Just buy a new one, don't go the junkyard route, this is your safety that we are talking about.

I just started having this problem! It will take it, I just have to wiggle it around when I insert it. It gets annoying after a while.

My PR5 did this too, but I could still insert the buckle by pushing the red button in during insertion. It eventually cured itself.

Mine would insert just fine, but it was difficult to release.. I lived with it until my car blew up. I think this might have been an underlying cause to me throwing a rod...

Do a real careful inspection for 'stuff' in the reciever part. Clean with can air (blow it out).

I 'thought' safety equipment was fixed under unlimited warranty?
