So Aric is kind enough to bring home with him a little present a week ago. Mackenzie's first flu bug. Poor little tyke suffers through it like a champ, and is back on her feet and doing swell in a day's time. All is well so it seems. Well very next day wife and I don't feel so chipper and before we know it we've succumbed to the same damn flu and violently ill. My parents and my wifes grandmother offer to watch Mack while the two of us recover, and we gladly accept. The end result? A pair of parents and a grandmother all violently ill with the flu. Apparantly its the gift that keeps on giving.

it seemed like it would last a day or two for each person and move on to the next. now i'm hearing my brother-in-law(s) have it as well.

yeah, a real nasty one. i haven't been this sick since high school. i don't want to give you the gruesome details really but it was violent for all of us. aric, nik, my mom, nik's grandma were all pretty much incapacitated for at least 24 hours at a time.

I got a bug from Colorado. The runny nose, eyes, dry throat, that lasts a week bug. still hanging on but nothing like the one day of hell bug you got. this weather isint any help ether.(coffee)

I'd trade that for tearing the cornea in my right eye. Beating Bioshock cyclops-style was no easy task. Also, pretty much everything becomes harder with one eye.
