Its been a while since I posted here, but I have replied to others on some less complicated questions. I am in hope that some one has an answer or opinion. I have an 09 CX-7 GT AWD. it does not have a display showing gas consumption like some of the other mazda vehicles might have. Perhaps the newer version of my car might have one.
Anyways, I saw on a couple of postings about guages you can add to you vehicle that would display gas consumption/L or Gallon as well as three other possible displays as boost, oil pressure, and a variety of temps that you can choose from among other choices. It seems that there are not to many things out there for the CX-7 and there are not to many things I want to change. However, this might be a nice little thing to add as I have a bit of a lead foot and perhaps seeing a display needle or gauge showing more or less gas being used might change my habit around town.
So far the only one that I cam across that seems to be able to work with my car is the Scan Gauge II. from what I read online, it plugs into the outlet under the steering collum and the gauge gets positioned where you can visible see it via velcro, such as between the gauge cluster and steering wheel. Does anybody know of this model or others that might be suitable.
Pros/Cons would be appreciated for my daily driver.
