I think I just lost a few thousand brain cells reading this crap. Homeboy makes no sense whatsoever. On one hand he's telling us he doesn't mind scratches or dings on his car. The next thing I know, he's selling his car because (in his mind) the car will never be the same after the body shop fixes it! I've heard of freakish OCD perfectionism but there's no consistency here!!

Clearly there's something else going on... something else none of us will probably ever know about. The first clue is when he mentioned he hasn't been indicted!! Can you say freudian slip? If we were to put our subject on the couch and psychoanalyze him, we might find out that he did something terrible (perform a hit for the mob maybe?) and has thus created a negative association with the car. Because he's so ashamed of what he did, he has to get rid of the car in order to avoid further torment. This dent serves as a reason (albeit a ridiculous one) to sell the car.

P.S. Relax... I'm only kidding around! (or am I???) Seriously though... your rationale is pretty absurd. If you're not working for the mob, you should think twice. Losing "a few thousand" on a new car is not cool.

His money bought the car. He's free to do as he chooses with the car. I can certainly understand the de-virginized feeling that I'd have if my car was to go in for extensive body work, I'm not sure *I* could sell it after that. I certainly understand his sentiment. Maybe he was lukewarm to the car to begin with and this made his decision easy?

Life is much bigger than what car you drive.

So let's sell it to a random person and then it becomes their problem...

That is so wrong...

It's not irreparable, the guy's just had some bad bodyshop experiences, and doesn't want to mess with it. The "random person" will surely be able to see the dent and figure out what they're getting into.

and get themselves into a newer MS3 for under 20k after repairs.

Holy wrong thread batman!

p.s. If my wife looked like that, Mexican prison wouldn't see so bad.

**sweet, deleted post makes swampass look cazy.

i dont see why he cant just take it to MAZDA and have them fix the MAZDA car instead of some bs shop tryn to make money but half assing the work....................................

You have a good point here, I would understand more if he said that he wasn't so keen on the car after all, but he didn't. But then I think... you are crazy so I dunno, ha ha j/j

did you really spray paint your wheels black and red??
No, they're powdercoated...
