Looks good........................................Still a saturn though; and saturn = crap

Might be my first ever Saturn purchase, but I'm gonna wait for the Redline version.... 2.4L VVT Turbo... nice. Hopefully it will be available by end of the year, anyone know for sure?

That's because it is just with a saturn emblem.

and no shared body panels...

I think it looks a lot better than the Solstice but I can't trust American cars so bah.

Its more then just a saturn emblem.

Speaking of which... I think I would avoid the Saturn badges and aquire the 2007 Opel/Vauxhall GT if the price is the same as the Redline Sky.

I chased one down here on I75 last week it looked pretty nice, except for those rear lights those are ugly imo

looks hot but highly impractical.

You want to see the trunk in the solstice and Sky?

I would be happier in a MX-5 with that new Mazdaspeed bodykit that makes it look like a Z4.

BTW the guy who designed the Solstice/sky now works for Mazda. Becuase GM didnt want to pay him a bonus for what he done with those 2 cars.

Motors add weight and theres a few of them for the top. You have to pull over to the side and retract the roof. While on the MX5 you can do it with one hand and still have trunk space. The miata is still lighter.

The solstic interor is crap. The sky's interior is nice. Big plus is that Miata has more standard features then Solstic. For the price of a Sky you can get a grand touring kit MX5. only problem on the MX5 is its looks and tire package is a bit weak.

the sky is a great looking car, i would take one in an instant.

and the sky redline is most likely going to have the same engine as the solstice gxp, which is a 2.0 not a 2.4

No it won't be available that soon. The Solstice GXP will be available around the fall and the Redline will probably follow a year from now. The engine is actually a 2.0L as someone else said.

silverspeed- There is supposed to be a hardtop Solstice in the future, not official word on that though, and nothing has been said of a Sky hardtop.

spacemonkey- there are no motors for the top. It's manual. The extra weight of the solstice comes from its larger size and the fact it has a hydroformed frame instead of a unibody. The Solstice/sky is closer in size to a S2000 then a Miata.
