Ah, As long as the word "Shift" is before...
I also put on some Dave B gauge rings today as well. You can see my other post in the Appearance section for the headache that I had trying to put these things on. It is scary once you have everything apart, cause I don't want to join the 'Broken Needle Club'. But they are on now, and look sweet.

Dave and Kelly Bodde are super nice people and have great customer service. These rings didn't fit my car very smoothly because my gauges didn't have a plastic lip that most Protege's have. Dave and I solved the problem and I love the way they change the look of the guages.

Just jokes dude, haven't received your Mazda 3 shift knob yet. Stuff always seems to take 2-3 weeks to get to me from the States. It will show up soon I'm sure, and I'll post up before and after pics of that as well.

Just thought I would post an update on my car since winter sucks, and I can't wait for it to get a bit warmer out to start doing some stuff to it again.
I got my Mazda 3 shift knob from tphskab (thanks again), and it looks sweet. I also sold my carbon fibre altezzas to Buck and went back to the regular Protege tail lights. I am waiting till late March to finally lower my car on the Tokico struts and Tein springs...........finally. I have also decided to go with the Mazda Protege front lip that was made for the 01+ Protege sedan that is sold on Mazdastuff after seeing it on 19kilo's car.

Looks very good I think. Still waiting to hear from them on what it would cost to ship to Canada. If the cost is insane, then I will just get them to ship it to my friends house in Minot, ND (to make use of their free US shipping) and then I would just drive down and pick it up.
After that is done, my exterior will be complete. Then I'll look into getting the TWM short shifter and some new Mazdaspeed floor mats from Ken. That is the plan anyways.

I feel your pain on the front bumper part. Blacked out headlights would look good on it IMO. I do like the altezzas (minus the red reflector part) but not the side moldings

Just ordered the TWM Short Shifter and Bushings about 5 minutes ago. Also installed a centre console from a 1999 Mazda Protege ES cause it has the arm rest that my car didn't come with. Looks way better. Will post up new pics of the TWM once I get it and install it.
Oh ya, I also got some 2001 grey Mazda Protege floor mats on e-bay. However the dude that sold them to me gave me 2 front passenger side mats (by mistake) along with the left/right rear mats, and no drivers side mat. So I am looking to find a drivers side mat. If I can't find one, then I'll send the mats back to the guy and he will refund my money and then some.
