Mazda 2 Tamura
Hi guys! I own a Mazda2 Tamura in the UK.
Hope no one minds me posting here but my forums are so quiet (yawn)

So heres my car before I sold all the parts off.

So off came the springs, exhaust, splitter and a few other goodies.
Went to sell it but no one wanted to pay what I was asking. So I've kept it!
Way too good a car to give it away.

All done within a week this is how my car stands;

Black badges / Evil M back on,
Smoked indicators on,
Rear/most of the car is stripped out,
Bucket seat is in,
OMP steering wheel has been redone with carbon wrap, (yet to fit)
Steering boss ordered, (yet to fit)
TRS harness in,
Diffuser remains,
H.I.D's in,
Private plate with UK legal pressed plates,
TRS tow strap to match the harness
De-wipered rear,
and to finish I've just ordered a set of Meister R coilovers.

Being made for me and should get them in the new year (cabpatch)

Few pictures of the work so far, will get good photo's up once the coilovers are here.

Sub'd. Can't wait to see how your car turns out Sarein.

God Damn.. the Angry bumper really transforms the look of the car..

Little update today. Managed to get a few more bits off the car.
Airbag module, headlining, curtain airbags and drivers seatbelt all out and cluttering my house.
Thats it till next week now.

Looking good :) good thought you had the seat in the wrong position for a sec then realised you're in England -_- I need to get some sleep. Looks quite aggressive! I like the lei (if that's what its called). Offsets the agro ;)

If you're going for weight saving track car, remove sound deadening? Or, if not, disregard what I just said!

Rear diffuser is a mod from mazda uk. Rare but they do pop up on ebay for alot less than I paid.
Sound proofing will be coming out along with a few other things next week.
Bonnet/hood will be taken back to a single skin and then I can loose the catch and other bits.
Got all the higher weight out first as without lowering theres alot of body roll.

Should be ready to look for track days just after christmas (2thumbs)

Nice build so far! Keep it up! Daily driving well be interesting. :)

Font sticker will be going on my seat soon too.
Daily driving is a bit of a pita. Worst thing is reversing with harneses and no in car light, opted to use my phone instead.
Only going to get worse from now on.

Any suggestion on light alloys guys?

I'm honored! :)

The price you pay for RACE.

Enkei RPF1
Konig Feather
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2
Buddy Club P1 Racing SF
Kosei K1 Racing

Enkei RPF1, Kosei K4R, 949racing 6UL

There are cheaper and pricier options, but these are a good compromise of price/weight/qualiy.

If I had to buy new I would have gotten the K4R's instead of my K1-TS's. Also, used race wheels are super easy to find in our fittment.

Rear doorcards and window mech now out.
Such a pain to do and now I have a problem locking the car.

Found a great source of parts over the week so hope to get my steering wheel sorted soon.

Becoming a pain now. Thought I'd overcome it by plugging the doors back in.
Anyone know how to disable the door open alert or the central locking?

Do like how it drives now, just need my coilovers to reduce the body roll.

^ I have no idea. Maybe someone knows. Good luck!

Got it to lock! Did have to keep the cables but I'm going to look into that again soon.
Not much news for today other than fixing the doors and sorting a few little fixings.

Hoping to get my car on the scales and see how I'm doing with the weight.
