S-PIPE to the turbo

ION: any chance on development of a downpipe with S-pipe that's the same length as OEM unit?

ion, you need to make a down-pipe to fit on another aftermarket 3in cat. so all us that went custom can use it because all the "custom" guys around here cant pull it off!!!!!

ARunto - the termination point (flange) of our integrated 1-piece down-pipe is the same as where the stock down-pipe ends. The only problem is that you'll have to get whatever's behind modified to fit. Otherwise it won't work. Our full system is 3".

bored132 - As mentioned before, you could as long as you're willing to modifiy the pieces you have now. You can purchase one of our matching flanges and have a local place "match-up" to our down-pipe.

ARunto - yes 3" 2-bolt, we made the flanges after a standard 3" 2bolt gasket so that gaskets would be readily available. Instead of a solid connection, we have a spherical gasket here to add some more flex.

hey ion i hada question, is there any way i could buy the S pipe piece from you and anyway hook it up to the protsport d/p? it is 2.5"? is there a flange as u mentioned i could modify and match it upto the protosport d/p and make it work somehow? i have the protosport d/p on right now so i was thinking the most economical way to go.
thanks

chitownballer - the most economical way to go is to just get our full turbo-back system.

Our Integrated down-pipe includes the "S-pipe + down-pipe" into one piece. It ends where the stock cats would normally connect to the cast down-pipe.

but just theoretiacally would it be possible to connect your s pipe piece to my current downpipe? becuase i really am trying not to spend another few hundred dollars on this..

THE PRO'S

I got my downpipe done yesterday.
The guys at MUFFLEX who have done my whole exhaust system are going to work on the s-pipe. They done my whole turbo application for the mazdaspeed. My system feels and sounds great, I got a 3" system with a apex'i N1. The high flow cat is 3" but then I have a 2.5" down pipe that will eventually end at the turbo with 2.5" when there s-pipe is finished.
They have a Ginny pig mazdaspeed and hopefully they will have more produces out soon.

chitownballer - you'd have to figure out some way of modifying your down-pipe to work then. Otherwise it simply won't work as your down-pipe starts @ the 3 bolt flange and goes to the mid-pipe. Ours starts @ the turbo and ends where the cats would normally start.
