depends on what size? also depends on whether that includes the J-pipe section? depends on what material is used? is there an O2 bung welded in?

i voted 200-250, but honestly i think that's high.

i think a reasonable price is in the 150-200 range. its a very short pipe that should have very limited bends. maybe for a 'ss 3in best of the best' pipe i would pay more, but i'd just like a relatively low-priced upgrade from factory - it's up under the car...no one's gonna be sayin how shiny it is w/ the ss..

under 200 if its a single collector replacement...250ish if it has a separate passage for the wastegate that rejoins the main pipe after 9inches....DPs for every other turbo car on the market run for around 250 so I see no reason why this one should cost anymore...

I voted for the $200-$250, but I think even that is too much, unless you mean a full S-pipe to cat back section.
For JUST the S-pipe itself with separate WG tube, I say $150-$200. We'd still need to get the J-pipe/midpipe too.

someone should make it, and then sell it to Apex or someone like that where they can make it en masse and not be forced to wait mooooooooooooonths for exhaust products.

About as many as people have aftermarket downpipes probably(dunno) Sounds about right to me...

how many S-Pipes do u think would sell?
One bajillion. Or at least thats how many MSP owners are feinding for this piece.

And just to prevent this from becoming another "I want a..." thread, he's just asking about the 'S'-pipe, nothing more, nothing less. Please keep from making requests, as he is only asking about making an 'S'-pipe. I think that possible manufacturers are being scared off because there are so many requests for different parts. Just trying to keep it focused, I see too many of these threads turn into junk.

I definitely agree; if this s-pipe can come in under $200, I think they would sell like hotcakes! And let's keep the requests to a mininum so that somebody can finally make one :D

One bajillion is right.

I think it would sell very well, especially whoever is the first to produce one at a reasonable price. Honestly I think 200-250 is still a bit high, but if it came with "all the fixins"(full 3", separated wastegate, ss, solidly built), I would still get it. But I can't really justify paying 250+ for about a half a foot of piping. Seriously, come on (jerkit)

This s*** is getting old though. I have seen countless threads that tease about a new s-pipe replacement, yet no one has delivered. The corksport one has been "in development" for god knows how long. Various other members have proposed trying to get a shop to make one, and selling to the community, but nothing has ever come of it.
Many people are VERY interested in getting an s-pipe replacement, and I think it would be a goldmine for whoever can deliver. If I had the tools and the skills, I would be popping them out day and night, and probably make a killing at it too.

Right now looks like perrin is the best bet, since they did recently come out with their fmic and they now claim that the s-pipe is in the works, but we shall see. At this point I am skeptical towards anyone claiming to have an s-pipe in the works.

you guys dont want to pay anything for this piece but if someone were to make a pipe like the iON piece I saw I'd say $350+ easily. I've seen several turbo pipes run much more than that.

The iON piece looks very quality and if it were available seperatly I'd pay upwards of $350 for it. Just because you don't WANT to pay more for it doesn't mean it isn't worth it.

THANK YOU!!! i would love parts for free but what is it worth to you

people wil pay for what the want, but only up to a point.

i want to go out and buy an ebc, but for 300 bucks, i no longer WANT it, i'd just like to have one.

a 300-something dollar product has a very high opportunity cost, meaning there's a good amount of stuff that i can substitute this very short pipe with.

find the balance between what people want to pay and what people will pay - you'll definitely find a market.

look, the reality is that if you can have a downpipe made that is reasonably priced within the next two weeks, you will probably have a lot of business, otherwise, it will be a pipe dream because perrin will come out with there S-pipe/J-pipe combo within the next 4 weeks or so....if their pipe is reasonably priced ($200-300), then i will buy it, if not, i am going to make my own....
