I was just reading motortrends newest issue where they had a "best handling cars" article. It was awesome. Congrats to the RX-8 for showing that Power isnt everything. They subjected 10 cars to a massive battery of handling tests.
Randy Pobst was the test driver. He said the GTR had tons of grip but when it let go, it let go hard.
RX-8 in a group of 10 cars in the test (cooperS, Cobalt SS/TC, Viper, GTR, Porshe, Audi R8, EVO MR, GT500KR and BMW M3), it came in 3rd in the subjective handling rating.
I believe Pobst' quote was "with most of these cars, you feel like you're riding a horse, with the RX-8, it's like someone bolted wings to your arms"
