RWD platform for 2.3?

has there ever been a rear wheel drive platform of the 2.3 engine like in the MS3 or regular 3 series? is this called the MZ engine?

could you elaborate on which year models? i had a ranger with a 2.3 ford engine, and it was a totally different animal than these...

are the latest mazda pickup engines the same... i wil do some research on this as well...

FOr example the 2.3 crank fits in the MZ motors.
