MSD ignitions, mallory, name them. its rev control. Hell on a turbo car, spark cut makes boost on the line. More fuel dumped without spark and the turbo spools up.
I don't see how SPARK cut it worse than Fuel cut.
Fuel cut = lean burns pistons could cause Detonation. etc..........
Spark cut = little more gas out the tail pipe, cat gets alittle hotter(if you have one), backfires alittle(could be bad on a turbo car) BUILDS BOOST ON THE STARTING LINE, so my 4 banger mustang takes off like a V8, without having to be one.
Best thing is to not have to use the damn Rev limiter. its there to protect the motor not for you to bounce the engine off of it. Besides i know people who drive the MS3 have to feel the HUGE fall of power over 6000rpm. hell i shift at 5800-6000 as theres no point in being up in the 6000 + area, theres no power.
