RSX seats...has anybody swapped them into a Protege?

I take it your RSX seats don't have airbags? I always wondered if you could hook up "other" seats airbags into the factory connector.

I took a look at your first post and those RSX seats do look like they have airbags, what do the connectors look like on the seat?

The RSX seats do indeed have airbags, but i don't think i'm going to hook them up. I'm sure that the airbags are designed for a collision in an RSX. These seats are much closer to the doors than in an Acura. I would hate to think what could go wrong if the RSX seat airbags deployed and didn't have enough room to do so properly.

I haven't really looked closely at the connections. They might match up kinda closely, but i also don't want the wrong voltage between the protege wire and the RSX seat wires to cause the airbags to deploy accidentally.

Just curious...how much was the labor for the fabricator?

The fabricator only charged me $125, friend of a friend rate...

These seats make me drive much faster. When you feel secure in your seat and you're not sliding around, you want to take those turns faster and sharper. I love it!

those look sweet makes me wish I still had my rsx seats from my old Honda. I had 03 seats your 06 seats are much nicer and aren't know to rip.

Did you iron out the airbag warning yet? I just replaced my seats last night and am getting the same warning light.

I saw on a vette forum where the owners were jumping the connector under the seat with a 3.3 ohm jumper.
